The Potter-Dix Coyotes won the last time they faced the Minatare Indians, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Potter-Dix claimed a resounding 51-9 victory over Minatare at home. That 51-9 margin sets a new team best for Potter-Dix this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Potter-Dix to victory, but perhaps none more so than Madison Williamson, who scored 18 points along with five steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Williamson has scored at least 25% of Potter-Dix's points. Another player making a difference was Crystal Dhooge, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Potter-Dix and bumps their season record up to 3-5. As for Minatare, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Potter-Dix will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bayard at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Bayard's defense has only allowed 20 points per game this season, so Potter-Dix's offense will have their work cut out for Potter-Dix. Minatare will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hemingford on January 5, 2024.
