Back in January, Jordan-Elbridge beat the Blue Devils 56-46. 56 seems to be a good number for Jordan-Elbridge as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Marcellus put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 79-38 victory over Solvay. The win was nothing new for Marcellus as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Marcellus got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Will Burnett out in front who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. Burnett has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last three times he's played. Will Kershaw was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Jordan-Elbridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Marcellus, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1.
Jordan-Elbridge took a serious blow against the Mustangs when the teams last played back in January, falling 84-40. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Marcellus' Mitch Donegan, who scored 25 points along with four steals.
