Lucas Meyer Delivers Electric Effort Vs South
Starting off the list is Heights's Lucas Meyer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Meyer rushed for 135 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.

Mason Made His Presence Known in Northwest's 38-17 Defeat
While Northwest might've come up empty on Friday, Jaylen Mason wasn't going down without a fight. Mason was unstoppable, rushing for 94 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 113 yards on five of 18 attempts.
Northwest's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-1. It'll be Northside v. Southside when their and South meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
