Attica hasn't had much luck against South Vermillion recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Red Ramblers will look to defend their home field against the Wildcats at 5:00 a.m. Attica is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Having struggled with four losses in a row, Attica turned things around against Fountain Central on Thursday. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 10-7.

South Vermillion couldn't beat Terre Haute North Vigo on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the first inning. The Wildcats came up short against the Patriots, falling 20-5.
South Vermillion saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shaylee Wallace, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
Attica's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for South Vermillion, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
Attica's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's game. The Red Ramblers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game.
