Leading Coahoma to victory were  Gabby Cox and  Bree Lewis.  Cox  had six  digs and six  aces, while  Lewis  had 13  kills and ten  assists. Lewis is  on a roll when it comes to  kills, as she's  now  had five or more in each of the last 18 games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Blakely Rodgers, who  had three  digs and three  aces.
 They weren't the only good servers: Coahoma  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 12  aces. That's the most  aces they've managed all season.
Coahoma's victory bumped their record up to 18-9-1. As for Lamesa,  they are  on  a  26-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.
