Lakeside had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They really took it to the Clark Fork Wampus Cats for the full four quarters, racking up an 89-52 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Hallah Peone continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 13-for-17 on his way to 31 points in addition to six boards and five assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 18 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Tyson Charley, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten assists.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Lakeside was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 20 assists in three consecutive contests.

Clark Fork's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Owen Howard, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Howard a new career-high in assists (four). Evrett Montgomery was another key player, going 7-for-17 to rack up 20 points and seven boards.

Lakeside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.3 points. As for Clark Fork, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
