Derek Thompson posted a new career-high in receiving yards on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he picked up 98 receiving yards and one touchdown. His longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards.

Looking ahead, Thompson and Westlake will challenge St. Louis Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Thompson up against the Saints' star WR Trace Moreau. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
