Lutheran extended their  winning streak to four games  thanks to a huge performance from  Kade Speckman. The Lutheran Lions strolled past the Palmer Ridge Bears with  points to spare on Friday, taking the game  60-44 thanks in part to  Speckman, who  went 8 for 11  en route to 22 points and eight  boards. The  game was  his sixth in a row with at least 21 points.
 The team also got some help courtesy of  Owen Oldenburg, who  went 5 of 9  to rack up 14  points. He is also on a roll when it comes to  field goal percentage, as he's  posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's  played.
 Palmer Ridge lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Chaz Connors, who  went 5 for 12  on his way to 15 points.  Logan Boyer was another key player,  putting up ten  points and five  assists.
Lutheran pushed their record up to 17-3 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Palmer Ridge,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-10.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutheran will head out to  take on Discovery Canyon  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lutheran knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Discovery Canyon likes a good challenge. As for Palmer Ridge, they will square off against Lewis-Palmer at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lewis-Palmer will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  win, something Palmer Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
