It was another big night for Talan Collins, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds for Munday. Collins set a new season high mark in assists with six. Mance Phillips was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Northside has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Munday, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-7.
Northside will take on Electra at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Electra presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Northside in Texas (Electra is ranked 687th, while Northside is ranked 1642nd). As for Munday, they will head out on the road to face off against Benjamin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Benjamin is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
