The Waco Lions had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 65-42 margin over Taylor. The win was just what Waco needed coming off of a 62-37 loss in their prior match.
Taylor's lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Eli Laurence, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds. Harrison Tate was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Waco's win bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Taylor, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Waco will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Wyatt at 4:30 p.m. Taylor's road trip will continue as they head out to face Madison at 1:00 p.m. on November 30th. Hopefully Madison focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Saturday.
