Northwest is a perfect 10-0 against North since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will face off against the RedHawks at 5:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
It was a classic East v. West duel when Northwest duked it out with East on Tuesday. The Grizzlies never let the Aces get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Aces: they've now won seven in a row.
Lilly Hoffman made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

Northwest's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for North, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Northwest hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .335. However, it's not like North struggles in that department as they've averaged .497. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Northwest's way against North in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Northwest made off with a 17-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Grizzlies since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
