On Thursday, Desert Vista is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Carlsbad at 6:00 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Desert Vista took care of business in their home opener. They blew past Palm Springs 28-6.
Meanwhile, Carlsbad made easy work of Steele Canyon last Friday and carried off a 41-7 win.
Their wins bumped Carlsbad to 1-0 and Desert Vista to 1-0. With both Carlsbad and Desert Vista swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
