On Friday, the Wetumpka Indians kept a clean sheet against the Pike Road Patriots. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0. Austin Holley had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Wetumpka.
The victory was the third in a row for Wetumpka, bringing their record for this year to 3-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three games. As for Pike Road, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Wetumpka will head out on the road to challenge Tuscaloosa Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pike Road, they will be playing at home against Park Crossing at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
