After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Maine West, Wheeling was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. They walked away with  an   8-5  win over the Taft Eagles.
Wheeling's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 13-20. As for Taft, their loss was  their seventh straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 16-19.
 Coming up, Wheeling will challenge Mundelein at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Wildcats are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. Taft does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
