South Broward had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Coconut Creek Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Joey Ben Ezra and Lucas Velazco scored all three of South Broward's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

South Broward pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three games. As for Coconut Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2-1.

South Broward has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Deerfield Beach on the 10th. As for Coconut Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-2 draw against Coral Springs on the 12th.
