On Monday, South Texas Christian Academy got the W thanks in part to Martin Tamayo playing the best basketball he has all season. Tamayo went 9 of 13 en route to 19 points and six boards, good enough to also set a new career-high in assists in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

Tamayo's strong effort led South Texas Christian Academy over First Baptist and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
