Basketball Recap: Soulsville Wins Going Away Against Kingsbury

After losing to Kingsbury the last time they met, Soulsville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Soulsville Revolution blew past the Kingsbury Falcons 80-60 on Tuesday. The Revolution have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Soulsville had a senior duo take command as NICKARREON WILLIAMS went 9 for 20 on his way to 21 points in addition to eight assists and three steals and NICHOLAS WILLIAMS JR went 7 of 17 on his way to 15 points along with five boards and three blocks. WILLIAMS JR is crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of JERRELL PULLHAM, who posted 12 points and five rebounds.

Soulsville's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.3 points per game. As for Kingsbury, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Soulsville will venture away from home to square off against Booker T. Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kingsbury, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Kingsbury surely won't give up without a fight.
