Post Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They took  a  28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake City Timberwolves. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Timberwolves apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in November of 2024.
 Despite the loss, Post Falls still got an impressive performance from   Marshall Tomlinson, who rushed for 90 yards and one  touchdown.
 A big part of Lake City's  win came down to the chemistry between  Landon Leveque and his top target  Aaron Aparicio. Leveque picked up 142 receiving yards and a pair of  TDs while  Aparicio threw for 255 yards and four  touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per attempt.
Post Falls' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lake City, their victory  ended  a  six-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 3-6.
As of now, neither Post Falls nor the Timberwolves have any future games scheduled.
