After a string of three wins, Chapin's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They were outmatched by the Clover Blue Eagles and fell 60-30. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Reagan Haggard was Chapin's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Keke Wright held things down on the boards with four rebounds. Brooke Holmes took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Clover's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Lewter, who posted ten points in addition to five boards and three steals. Lewter has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Clara Powell, who put up 11 points and seven rebounds.

Chapin's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Clover, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Chapin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-38 loss against Dorman on the 3rd. As for Clover, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 38-32 victory against Fort Mill on the 3rd.
