St. Joseph waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Greenwich Cardinals as they made off with a 21-2 win. With that victory, the Cadets brought their scoring average up to 7.7 runs per game.
Katie Dzialo made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
In other batting news, St. Joseph got a massive performance out of MacKenzie Caouette, who went 4-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs Caouette has posted since back in April of 2024. Gina Coppola was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs and three RBI.
