Xavier Howard produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Broughton to the win on Friday. AkShar Barnes was instrumental in extending Leesville Road's winning streak to eight on Friday. Barnes did his part (and then some), rushing for 69 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while also picking up 35 receiving yards for the 'W'.
Leesville Road's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Barnes will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Athens Drive on Friday.
