South Stanly had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They never let the Gray Stone Day Knights get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Rowdy Rebel Bulls have won ten contests by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

South Stanly's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-12. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Gray Stone Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: South Stanly beat the Knights by a score of 10-0 later that day.
