The Ossining Pride had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 71-54 win over Greeley. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ossining also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Ossining's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nicole Perriott, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 20 rebounds. Perriott has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more rebounds the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Schnecker, who scored 17 points along with five assists.
Ossining pushed their record up to 12-7 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Greeley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
Ossining will head out on the road to challenge Mamaroneck at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Ossining's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games. Greeley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
