Eagle's View can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 55-10 win over First Coast Christian. With Eagle's View ahead 35-5 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Eagle's View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayda Parker, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Parker has scored at least a third of Eagle's View's points. Another player making a difference was Skylar Wilson, who scored 17 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Covenant School of Jacksonville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against St. Johns Country Day, falling 66-30. While losing is never fun, Covenant School of Jacksonville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 429th, while St. Johns Country Day is ranked 207th).
Eagle's View's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Covenant School of Jacksonville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.
Everything went Eagle's View's way against Covenant School of Jacksonville in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as Eagle's View made off with a 51-28 victory.
