The Quantico Warriors lost against the Tandem Friends Badgers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Quantico suffered a tough 62-36 defeat at the hands of the Badgers. Quantico has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Alden Scott was a one-man wrecking crew for Tandem Friends as he scored 22 points. Scott continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ty Shelton, who scored 13 points.
Quantico dropped their record down to 1-7 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Tandem Friends, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quantico will take on the Yellow Jackets at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Randolph-Macon Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Warriors in Virginia (the Yellow Jackets are ranked 133rd, while the Warriors are ranked 382nd). As for Tandem Friends, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th.
