The Edgewood Mustangs had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against West Vigo by a score of 48-39 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Edgewood also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.
Mialin White continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Huttenlocker, who scored eight points.
Edgewood's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for West Vigo, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Edgewood won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Monrovia at 7:30 p.m. on January 27th. Monrovia has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 248 points over their last three games. As for West Vigo, they will head out on the road to take on Marshall at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
