With a playoff game on the line, the Jones Christian Academy Warrior rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Saints by a score of 72-65. Jones Christian Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Despite the loss, Central Christian saw an underclassman step up: Jarrod Harmon scored 25 points along with five assists. Harmon is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last 11 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Knapp, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
The win made it two in a row for Jones Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Central Christian, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-6.
Jones Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Christian, they will square off against Calvary Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Calvary Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Central Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
