Lane Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 21-14. As for Whitney Young, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record  this season.
 Lane Tech and Whitney Young should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Champions will  take on  Maine West  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday with a big rank  advantage  (139 vs. 331). Meanwhile,  Whitney Young (ranked 56th) will meet Berwyn/Cicero Morton (ranked 340th)  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
