After flying high against the Southeastern Jungaleers last Monday, the Cass Tech Technicians came back down to earth. Cass Tech fell just short of Ferndale by a score of 56-53.
Ferndale's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aaliyah Frost, who scored 20 points. Frost is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Keyanna McGarrell was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Cass Tech's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. As for Ferndale, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Cass Tech will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Renaissance at 7:00 p.m. Ferndale will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Dexter at 8:00 p.m. on December 16th.
