There's no place like home for the East Stroudsburg North Timberwolves, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-39 win over Easton Area on Wednesday. For East Stroudsburg North, this counts as revenge for the 85-38 defeat Easton Area walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2020.
Nate Wilder continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last ten times he's played. Another player making a difference was Bryceson Dobie, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Several Rovers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jeremy Henry, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Hoadley, who scored nine points.
East Stroudsburg North pushed their record up to 10-6 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Easton Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
East Stroudsburg North will be playing in front of their home fans against Pocono Mountain West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pocono Mountain West knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully East Stroudsburg North likes a good challenge. As for Easton Area, they will head out on the road to challenge Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Freedom is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
