The home team had won the previous three meetings between CHASE and Genesee Christian, and Genesee Christian kept the tradition alive. The Conquerors fell just short of the Soldiers by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The Conquerors have struggled against the Soldiers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

CHASE's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Genesee Christian, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-9 record.

Coming up, CHASE will venture away from home to square off against Bloomfield Christian School at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Defenders will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Conquerors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Genesee Christian, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-0 loss against Plymouth Christian Academy on the 9th.
