The Vicksburg Gators entered their tilt with the Ridgeland Titans with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Vicksburg came out on top against Ridgeland by a score of 20-7 on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Vicksburg, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Among those leading the charge was Malik Montgomery, who rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown.
Vicksburg's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-3. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Ridgeland, Columbus, and Callaway. As for Ridgeland, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Vicksburg will head out on the road to face off against Grenada at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Ridgeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
