In what's become a running theme this season, the Reagan County Owls gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Christoval 77-39 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Reagan County who now have 11 in a row.
Kason Brown was his usual excellent self, shooting 5-for-11 from deep and almost dropping a double-double on 33 points and nine rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarrett Brown, who scored 19 points along with five steals.
Reagan County is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season. As for Christoval, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-13.
Reagan County will look to defend their home court on Monday against Sterling City at 6:30 p.m. Reagan County is on a 20-game streak of home wins, Sterling City a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Christoval, they will head out on the road to face off against Forsan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Christoval and Forsan are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
