Sargent waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Pueblo Central Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Farmers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Sargent got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-30, 25-17, 15-13.

Sargent's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Pueblo Central, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Sargent will challenge Nucla at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pueblo Central, they will take on Mitchell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
