Gayville-Volin will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Centerville at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Gayville-Volin had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-52 to Burke/South Central. Gayville-Volin were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-36.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 16-60, which was the final score in Centerville's tilt against Scotland last Friday.
