Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Imhotep Charter Panthers walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 38-13 margin over the Indians. Imhotep Charter's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Leading Imhotep Charter to victory were Jabree Wallace- Coleman and Mikal Davis jr. Wallace- Coleman rushed for 212 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, while Davis jr rushed for 80 yards and three touchdowns. Wallace- Coleman was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 68 yards.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Imhotep Charter's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Jahsear Whittington and his two sacks.
Imhotep Charter's victory bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Peters Township, their loss dropped their record down to 15-1.
Imhotep Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Peters Township also has no future games currently scheduled.
