West Lafayette barely beat Delphi Community the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Red Devils were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Oracles on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Red Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Korbyn Keen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Keen was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base.

In other batting news, LJ Whitford was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Colin Kastens, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

The victory got West Lafayette back to even at 1-1. As for Delphi Community, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Looking ahead, West Lafayette will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Twin Lakes at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Delphi Community, they will square off against Madison-Grant at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
