The Midland Classical Academy Knights's game on Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They secured a 36-32 W over Westbrook. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Midland Classical Academy also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2018.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ethan King, who scored four points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Gilbreath, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Westbrook struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Midland Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Westbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Midland Classical Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Westbrook, they will head out on the road to face off against Highland at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
