First Flight entered their tilt with Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Griffins. The Nighthawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Griffins, too.

While First Flight won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Parker Fowler and Brooklyn Younts, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Savannah Schnader and her 29 assists. Ashlyn Hux controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

First Flight now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech, they dropped their record down to 9-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: First Flight beat the Griffins by a score of 3-0 later that day.
