CHICAGO, Ill. - After four lead changes,
Lindblom (Chicago, Ill.) took the lead for good when
Courtney Hill ran for a touchdown with 10:00 left in the fourth quarter and held on to defeat
Chicago Bulls College Prep (Chicago, Ill.) 18-14 on Saturday.
After nabbing the lead on a two-point conversion, the Bulls went into halftime with a 8-6 lead. The Eagles scored the winning points with a touchdown run by Hill that came in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring six points in the third, Lindblom still trailed by two points going into the fourth quarter. But six points in the fourth helped LHS pull out the victory.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Eagles, who were coming off a 28-6 defeat at the hands of Carver in its previous game.
Lindblom (4-1) goes up against Phoenix Military Academy in a Chicago Public - Great Lakes game matchup next week, while Chicago Bulls College Prep (0-5) locks horns with Bowen also in a Chicago Public - Great Lakes game.
