Laurel extended their postseason success on Saturday against Elyria Catholic. They walked away with a 50-40 victory over the Elyria Catholic Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Gators also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2019.

Laurel has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-13 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points over those games. Elyria Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 19-6.

Coming up, Laurel will face off against Perry at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Perry sitting on three straight wins and Laurel on six. Elyria Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
