The Arickaree Bison won the last time they faced the Hi-Plains Patriots, and things went their way on Friday too. Arickaree walked away with a 42-33 win over Hi-Plains. The win made it back-to-back wins for Arickaree.
Arickaree's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but JULISA QUINTEROS led the charge by scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points QUINTEROS has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of RAEYA SCHROCK, who scored ten points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Arickaree's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Hi-Plains, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
Arickaree will head out on the road to face off against Flagler at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Flagler will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Hi-Plains will take on Kit Carson at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Kit Carson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
