After a string of six wins, Fleming Island's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the George Jenkins Eagles.

Lillie Eason paced Fleming Island's offense, picking up eight kills. Eason got some help from Hazel Williams and her 14 assists. Hanna Kophamer controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Fleming Island's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for George Jenkins, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Fleming Island wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lake Howell on the 4th.
