Moon Valley will head out on the road to face off against Yuma at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Moon Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Greenway by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Moon Valley couldn't push the score so high this time.
Meanwhile, Yuma scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They didn't even let Paradise Honors onto the board and left with a 6-0 win. The victory was just what Yuma needed coming off of a 9-1 defeat in their prior game.
Moon Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-2. As for Yuma, their win bumped their record up to 1-4-1.
Moon Valley took their win against Yuma when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 10-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Moon Valley since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
