North Moore lost against Seaforth back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The North Moore Mustangs were beaten by the Seaforth Hawks 71-40. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  52-18.

Loss or not, North Moore got some senior leadership from  Colby Pennington and  Brandon Powell.  Pennington  dropped  a double-double on 15 points and ten  boards, while  Powell  went 5 of 11  en route to 14  points. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Powell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brady Preslar, who  posted four  points and six  assists.
 Even though they lost, North Moore  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 11  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive boards in four consecutive  contests.
  Declan Lindquist had an outrageously good game for Seaforth as he  earned 25 points. Those 25  points gave  Lindquist a new career-high.  Duncan Parker also deserves some recognition as  he  posted his first  block of the season.
North Moore dropped their record down to 4-13 with the  defeat, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Seaforth,  the  win  got them back to even at 10-10.
 North Moore has already played their next game,  a  73-65  loss against Cummings on the 5th. As for Seaforth, they will square off against Southeast Alamance at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Southeast Alamance will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Seaforth surely won't give up without a fight.
