Comanche has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Millsap Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Comanche is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Millsap in Texas (Comanche is ranked 61st, while Millsap is ranked 544th).
Comanche has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 24 points or more this season. They took their game at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 65-15 victory over Peaster.
Even though Millsap has not done well against Breckenridge recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Millsap came out on top against Breckenridge by a score of 54-43.
Comanche pushed their record up to 14-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Millsap, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8.
Things could have been worse for Comanche, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 61-44 loss to Millsap when the teams last played back in January. Can Comanche avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
