The Remington Broncos will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Classical Saints at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Remington came out on top against Fredonia by a score of 61-28 (the very same score they lost by the week prior).
Even though Classical has not done well against Belle Plaine recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Classical came out on top against Belle Plaine by a score of 41-28. The win made it back-to-back wins for Classical.
Flannery Black was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds. Nevi Wilkey was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Remington now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Classical, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
