Volleyball Recap: Bishop Neumann Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Bishop Neumann won the last time they faced Lincoln Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cavaliers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Crusaders.

Bishop Neumann walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 24-26, 25-15.

Bishop Neumann found their leader in freshman Madison Wiese, who had 15 digs and two aces. Kyler Cada also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Bishop Neumann was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive matches.

Bishop Neumann has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Lincoln Christian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Neumann will square off against David City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln Christian, they will face off against Syracuse on Thursday.
