Kaden Carter Has Career Rushing Day
Starting off the list is Lamar County's Kaden Carter, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Carter made two total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards.
The win was the third in a row for Lamar County, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Carter and Lamar County will face off against Putnam County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Rashod Daniel Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Putnam County got the W thanks in part to Rashod Daniel playing the best football he has all season. Daniel rushed for 170 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. Putnam County is 2-1 when Daniel posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.

Social Circle Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Jameccus Hardge
Jameccus Hardge was instrumental in extending Social Circle's winning streak to three on Friday. Nobody could stop Hardge as he rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns.
If history really does repeat itself, Hardge might just drop another big game when he faces off against Jasper County on Friday. When Hardge last faced the Hurricanes back in October of 2023, he rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 37 yards and a touchdown.
