Brandon is 0-3 against Robinson since November of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Brandon Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Robinson Knights at 6:30 p.m. Brandon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 569th, while Robinson is ranked 219th).
Last Friday, Brandon beat Blake 51-41. The victory was just what Brandon needed coming off of a 66-25 loss in their prior contest.
Julia Castany and Sofia Caserta were among the main playmakers for Brandon as the former scored 15 points and the latter scored 16 points. Castany has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times she's played. jazleni mathews was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Meanwhile, Robinson's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Wharton by a score of 41-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Robinson has suffered yet this season.
Brandon's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Robinson, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 10-7.
